Violent groups more and more utilize the internet for organizational purposes. Since the amount of available information on the internet is continually increasing, manual surveillance is not a viable option anymore, which leaves potential threats undetected. By automatically extracting and analyzing global information- and communication services, evidence indicating potential danger can be identified and handed over to experts for further evaluation. This allows the timely notification of public organizations and institutions, which in turn is an essential contribution to the security-political provision in Austria.
