Protecting critical infrastructure at events
Events and their security represent an increasing problem. Excesses by fans at concerts or sport events are a growing reality. Monitoring systems have to ensure the protection of visitors at such events. Nevertheless such techniques are not really favoured by the population. The question arises, how these techniques can be adapted in a way, so that their acceptance and confidence of persons are increased into these techniques, so that also the desired protective function can be ensured, in order to reduce possible excesses. It applies to accomplish therefore a sociological and psychological analysis in this Context. This project received the federal KIRAS Security-prize 2009.
