Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT) Communication-Model

The major research objective of the project is to explore the state-of-the-art communication and collaboration of CERTs. Furthermore the communication needs and also the communication barriers will be analysed. Since the communication partners of CERTs differ in their working culture, there are difficulties in this respect. These analyses will lead to a formal model for the communication and collaboration of CERTs. The distribution and diffusion of knowledge between CERTs and their communication partners will be investigated.

Results of this project will be disseminated in the form of publications, conference presentations, workshops and a project report. It is expected that the outcome of this project will also serve as basis for future research in cooperation with national and international CERTs.
